About Unified Equine

Hi, I'm Brooke

Brooke Doyle Unified Equine

A lifelong learner, Brooke Doyle  is currently pursuing certification and to date has successfully completed 45+ hours of hands on practical training with certified instructors (in Illinois and Tennessee), in addition to ongoing case study hours with a Masterson-approved mentor.

Recognizing that the horse can (and should) be an equal partner and active participant in their own wellness,  Brooke resonates with the autonomy that is given to each horse in this method of bodywork. Through their own unique expressions of pressure & release feedback, each horse is an active participant in every session and has bodily autonomy to release, move their body and self adjust. This method encourages a release of tension, which can help prolong maintenance, chiropractic adjustments and alignments, improve performance, regulate the nervous system, and encourage general well-being.

Through bodywork, Brooke hopes to provide ample space for your horse’s wellness to be prioritized without being task-oriented or hinging on a right-or-wrong answer feedback loop during the session. They are free to express themselves, and to even guide the session.

Brooke and her horse Arrow (pictured), a 15yo APHA gelding, happily run Starter Level at events in the Barrington, IL area, attend clinics, trail ride solo, goof around bareback, and spend plenty of time connecting in hand on cold, rainy days while engaging in such terribly naughty behaviors as: licking all the clean mirrors, rearranging the jump corner & proudly picking up barn tools with his teeth (Arrow that is, not Brooke).

Equine Bodywork

Recommended Frequency

Consistent bodywork provides great maintenance and preventive care for horses in any type of regular work - whether or not they are competitive, ridden for sport, or ridden for pleasure.

If your equine partner is regularly ridden on trails, over fences, cross country, round barrels, in the dressage arena, casually hacked bareback in the yard, or hunted for hours through open fields, they will benefit. After an initial session, I suggest bi-weekly or monthly sessions to help maintain relaxation, circulation and nervous system regulation throughout their training, pleasure riding, or competition schedule.

Your retired horses may need less frequent bodywork, but will still certainly benefit from maintenance as they transition into physical & mental recovery and a more relaxed lifestyle. After years of work, monthly or bi-monthly sessions will help your buddy settle into their golden years and provide a wonderfully soft landing after all they’ve given.
